Making renewable energy available day and night - that is the vision driving the young greentech company VoltStorage, which develops innovative energy storage systems based on Redox-Flow technology. These systems do not rely on problematic raw materials and are considered highly sustainable. The market's interest in the technology and its respective solutions is substantial - not least because they are regarded as game changers for the energy transition.
To position the company accordingly and strategically support its future growth, the establishment of additional structures is necessary. This includes the newly created People & Culture department under the leadership of Michael Wolter (41). It encompasses all activities related to human ressources, from recruiting and employee engagement to corporate operations such as the advancement of the company culture.
Michael Wolter brings broad expertise to the role, with his extensive experience in the fields of personnel, employer branding, project management, and strategic consulting for medium-sized businesses, the public sector, and matrix organizations. Most recently, he held the position of HR director at an internationally active packaging and brand experience company.
"I am very excited to elevate the People & Culture theme to the next level during an exciting growth phase of the company and to make a significant contribution to the success of VoltStorage and ultimately to the energy transition. Recognizing that this cannot be achieved alone, I am proud to have a strong and experienced team by my side."
The People & Culture team includes HR experts Sabrina Brandstetter and Sonja Reiser, as well as the newly added recruiting specialist Benjamin Plersch.
Michael Peither, Co-founder and CTO of VoltStorage: "The newly established People & Culture department represents another fundamental step in VoltStorage's growth phase. Amidst all the progress and milestones achieved in technology and product development, it is equally important to establish internal structures that ensure existing employees are carried along and empowered on this journey. At the same time, it is crucial to attract new professionals to organically and sustainably solidify growth. Beyond all technology, it is always the collaboration of people that leads to success."
The People & Culture team aims to embody this fundamental understanding as a professional center of excellence. They will not only serve as points of contact but actively care for all stakeholders, including applicants, employees, and the management.
Key focuses in the coming months will be the company's relocation to the new Munich location starting this autumn, as well as filling various open positions. Both the new location with the most modern workspaces, currently being created in the Munich greentech sector, and team reinforcement are central aspects for VoltStorage's continued growth and success.
