Energy for Education – Education in Energy!
This wordplay highlights the dynamic interplay between enthusiasm for learning and the critical knowledge of our energy system. This was clearly demonstrated during the visit of a project group from the Luitpold-Gymnasium in Munich.
As part of the school's annual project days – this time focused on all things related to the future – energy was a key topic: What types of energy exist, where does it come from, how should we manage it, and much more. It was only natural for the organizers to approach us for the opportunity to complement theoretical knowledge with exciting practical insights.
As a young, innovative company, we are at the forefront of battery technology, working on the sustainable energy supply of tomorrow. Therefore, we were more than willing to provide insights into our development processes and future outlooks.
Participants from grades 7, 8, and 9 toured our state-of-the-art laboratory and development hall, observing the process of developing advanced batteries. The VoltStorage team provided an in-depth introduction to the complex world of energy, explaining the science behind the revolutionary Iron Salt Battery technology and its role in the energy transition. Additionally, they discussed what it is like to start a company and lead it to success and growth.
The students' high level of "Energy for Education" was quickly evident through their keen interest and active participation. The importance and relevance of "Education in Energy" were also impressively confirmed.
We are delighted that we could contribute to deepening the students' knowledge and skills for the responsible management of the precious resource of energy.
