VOLTSTORAGE INTRODUCES NEW HEAD OF SALES
Christian Seidemann taking over Sales Management at VoltStorage.
Munich, 01 March 2019 – Following the market launch of the world’s first cost-effective home battery system based on the ecological Vanadium Redox Flow (VRF) technology, VoltStorage is strengthening its sales team. Christian Seidemann is taking over as Head of Sales. Seidemann will thus be responsible for working with the sales partner network, technical customer support as well as the consulting of end customers.
„With Christian, we are very pleased to have gained a man with many years of experience in the industry of storage systems. In his previous positions, he worked very successfully in B2B sales and the further development of sales processes,“ says VoltStorage CEO Jakob Bitner. Christian Seidemann has been working as a Senior Technical Sales and Product Manager for Siemens for more than 15 years. For more than five years, the new VoltStorage Head of Sales has been working in the field of energy storage systems. Due to his previous experience as Managing Director and co-founder of a storage provider, he also provides a broad network as well as know-how to further expand sales of VoltStorage’s home battery system.
Christian Seidemann will first expand VoltStorage’s network of sales partners in Southern Germany, followed by the expansion throughout all of Germany, which is planned for 2020. „We would like to offer homeowners a sustainable and technological alternative to conventional storage systems through our specialist partners – and that all over Germany,“ VoltStorage CEO Jakob Bitner emphasises the company’s medium-term objectives.
„I am very much looking forward to the new responsibilities in a highly innovative company that is consciously breaking new ground in storing climate-friendly energy in a way that conserves resources. I am convinced that we will successfully establish VoltStorage energy storage solutions in the storage market,“ says Christian Seidemann.
More about VoltStorage
VoltStorage develops and produces solar energy storage systems based on the ecological Redox Flow technology. With its sustainable storage solutions, VoltStorage follows the vision of making 100% renewable energies available 24/7 – and thus making the world cleaner and fairer.
VoltStorage is the first company worldwide to make Redox Flow technology available as a home storage solution for private households, which has proven itself in the bulk-scale storage market for years. This was made possible by VoltStorage’s ground-breaking production process which was filed for patenting. For the first time, this enables the automated and thus cost-effective production of Redox Flow batteries.
With the Redox Flow technology, the company can establish a storage technology in the mass market that is free from any rare or conflict raw materials. Vanadium Redox Flow technology is also fully recyclable and offers high operational reliability and longevity.
