VoltStorage accelerates company development and strengthens leadership team
Energy storage specialist VoltStorage is preparing for continued accelerated growth by strengthening its leadership team. Dr. Ralf Stanovsky takes over the role as Head of Finance and Bernhard Mayr becomes Head of Engineering. As recently as the end of July 2022, the Munich-based company received 24 million euros in Series C financing from US company Cummins Inc.
VoltStorage develops and produces energy storage systems based on environmentally friendly redox flow technology and is one of the leading technology companies for stationary flow battery systems. With the development of the Iron Salt technology, the company is setting new standards in the field of Long Duration Energy Storage and offers wind and solar farms a particularly cost-effective and resource-saving option for ensuring base load capability through renewable energies.
Dr. Ralf Stanovsky is a cross-sector specialist for finance and controlling, strategic corporate planning as well as business development in an international environment. He has worked as an interim manager in various industries for several years. Before that, he worked as Head of Finance & Controlling for Sixt Leasing, Commercial Director of Deutsche Lufthansa AG at Terminal 2 of Munich Airport and consultant at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, among others.
Bernhard Mayr is an expert in the fields of product development, production and mechatronics. He started his career as a product manager at KET Karosserie Entwicklung Thurner, became a team leader in vehicle construction at the Bertrandt Group and most recently worked as Head of Research & Development for NCTE AG.
