Energy storage as the key to a self-sufficient power supply
Learn more about how VoltStorage’s safe, powerful and low-cost solar power storage system can be an important step towards self-sufficient power supply.
The desire for self-sufficient power supply
The electric guitar sound from your son’s room, the football
evenings in front of the TV or your family’s morning breakfast –
many moments at home need power to become reality. To enable these
moments on your own with self-produced energy being more autonomous
through an independent power supply, is the desire that drives more
and more to rely on solar power.
With a photovoltaic system alone, however, one is still a long way
from fulfilling this dream. The reason is simple: When we are at
home and need electricity, PV systems often produce little to no
electricity at all and thus cannot supply the house with
energy. Thus one is still dependent from electricity mains in
the evening and at night.
Store your solar power for more independence
Use more self-produced solar power in your own home and save on
your electricity bill – with the VoltStorage
SMART you can use the electricity from your PV system even when
the sun is not shining. Because although we do not know how
electricity prices will develop in the future: This approach
enables you to supply your home with more home-generated
electricity and hence makes you more independent of the electricity
market.
At the same time you contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas
emissions. For the more solar energy you use, the less dependent
you are on the European electricity market, which obtains a large
proportion of its electricity from gas, coal and oil-fired power
plants that emit greenhouse gases. As such, you are one of the more
than 125,000 power storage owners in Germany who can claim: I Power
My Home.
