I'm Jakob, one of the three founders of VoltStorage GmbH, a Munich-based start-up with over 70 employees. In 2016, together with Michael and Felix, I founded VoltStorage. Our vision was and is to make renewable energy available 24/7 to enable a green, sustainable and fair future. As an expert for stationary flow batteries, we want to cover all application areas of stationary battery storage systems with our multi-technological approach and thus contribute significantly to the energy transition.
To drive forward our major project, I am currently looking for a

Head of Product & Business Development (m/f/d).

In this position, you will focus with your team on the development and product management of pilot projects, which include strategic positioning in target markets and defining a market entry strategy.

    Leading the product development of grid-scale battery systems in alignment with the overall company strategy

    Developing innovative products and business areas

    Defining and communicating the product vision to all stakeholders

    Establishing partnerships, collaborations, and alliances

    Revenue generation and achievement of strategic objectives
  • 06
    Leading the product management and business development teams

    Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and develop teams towards objectives
  • 02
    Completed technical or engineering degree or equivalent education, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering
  • 03
    Experience in representing the company externally, building and maintaining partnerships
  • 04
    Competence in developing and implementing product strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • 05
    Ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate market entry strategies
  • 06
    Capacity for strategic thinking, risk assessment, and optimizing profit maximization within the value chain
